This Limited Warranty Policy ("Warranty Policy") applies to manufactured hardware products and CNC machinery sold by Akriti Precision Systems Private Limited ("Akriti", "we", "us"). By purchasing or leasing an Akriti product, you ("Buyer", "Customer") agree to be bound by this Warranty Policy, which supplements our Terms of Sale in compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
1. Warranty Coverage & Period
Akriti warrants that manufactured CNC machinery and hardware products are free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal industrial use. Warranty periods commence from the date the machine is delivered to the end customer, whether it is bought from Akriti or from an authorized dealer:
- Standard CNC Machines: 12 months from delivery date.
- Composite Superstructure: Lifetime Warranty for the operational lifespan of the machine frame. The lifetime warranty covers the composite superstructure only; all other parts carry the warranty periods above.
- Third-Party Components: Components not manufactured by Akriti (e.g., Teknomotor spindles, specialized drives) are covered under the original manufacturer's (OEM) warranty terms.
- Extended Coverage: Optional extended warranties (up to 10 years) and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) are available in 1, 2, 3, 4, or 5-year plans.
2. Inspection and Defect Reporting Window
- Delivery Inspection: Buyers must inspect shipments upon arrival. Any visible physical or transit damage must be reported to Akriti within 7 calendar days of delivery to initiate carrier or warranty claims.
- Hidden Manufacturing Defects: Defects discovered during normal operation within the applicable warranty period must be reported promptly to support@akriti.tech.
3. Warranty Remedies
If a product is verified to be defective within the warranty period, Akriti will, at its sole discretion:
- Repair the defective component using new or reconditioned genuine parts; OR
- Replace the defective component/part; OR
- Refund the purchase price (less reasonable depreciation) if repair or replacement is determined to be unfeasible.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover:
- Normal wear and tear, consumables (cutters, collets, spoilboards, drill bits, belts, lubricants).
- Damage resulting from improper installation, failure to follow operational manuals, electrical surges, or improper grounding.
- Damage caused by unauthorized modifications, alteration, or repair by non-certified personnel. Certified personnel are Akriti's own engineers and the engineers of Akriti's authorized dealers who have completed Akriti's service training.
- Physical damage or transit damage not reported within 7 calendar days of delivery.
- Software configuration issues caused by third-party viruses or incompatible host computers.
5. Claim Procedure and Return Logistics
To file a warranty claim:
- Every Akriti machine carries an Akriti serial number, whether it was bought from Akriti or from an authorized dealer, and all warranty claims and support are handled against that serial number.
- If you bought through an authorized dealer, contact the dealer first: the dealer leads your support and claim, with Akriti's backing.
- Otherwise, email support@akriti.tech with your machine's serial number, your order number and invoice copy (Akriti's or your dealer's), and a detailed description/video of the issue.
- If part return is required, ship the defective part safely packed to our designated facility:

- All shipping is at the Buyer's cost (or the authorized dealer's, where the dealer handles the claim), including return freight for inspection/repair and shipping of repaired or replacement parts sent back under valid warranty claims.
6. Statutory Consumer Rights
In compliance with the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, nothing in this Warranty Policy limits your statutory rights regarding merchantable product quality and fair trade practices. Customer grievances are handled within 7 to 15 business days.
